One week intensive revision of your English language skills in a group of 6 students. We will be working in an informal setting, starting at 9.30 in the morning till 3.30 in the afternoon. Practising, extending and perfecting your English with a variety of assignments. This will also continue during lunch and coffee breaks, chatting with the other participants and your tutor Marie-Anne van der Woude.

Course programme:     Speaking practice:         exchanging information         presentations (with topics ranging from news items to subjects close to your heart)         simulations and role playing         negotiating: from jobs around the house to a business deal         small talk         pronunciation practice     Grammar Revision:         special focus: being polite         past and future tenses     Extending your active vocabulary     Listening and viewing practice

We will be working in teams and with the group, but will also do some individual work related to special requests and/or gaps in your grammar.
In order to answer your questions and make sure of finding the right starting point for the course all participants will be invited for an intake conversation.
If available, it would be appreciated if you brought your laptop along.
All summer course material is provided by 'English just English', with the exception of English Grammar in Use, R. Murphy 3rd edition + CDR.
The course will run from Monday to Friday, starting the 22nd of July 2013. Location: Schimmelpenninckstraat 8, 3904 HA Veenendaal.
